Couples therapy is a unique treatment where the identified client is the couple, rather than the individual people within the relationship. The goal of treatment is to help navigate conflict by reinforcing healthy, effective communication and satisfaction. Couples therapy is most effective when all parties are invested in repairing and working through difficulties, reconnecting emotionally and/or physically, and working together towards their mutual goals.
Couples therapy is typically offered in 55-75 minute sessions occurring weekly or biweekly depending on treatment needs and insurance coverage.
