WHAT IS FAMILY THERAPY?

Family therapy is a specialized treatment with the goal of helping the family feel like all members are on the same team. Treatment is designed to promote healthy communication, respect and expectations, and provide helpful techniques for alleviating conflict. Family therapy generally involves as many members of the family as are relevant and/or consent to participate in treatment.

HOW LONG ARE THERAPY SESSIONS?

Family therapy sessions can last anywhere between 55-110 minutes occurring weekly or biweekly depending on treatment needs, family size and level of involvement, and insurance coverage.

HOW DOES INSURANCE WORK WITH FAMILY THERAPY?

Prior to beginning services, we will conduct an eligibility and verification of benefits check to provide you with estimated costs, as well as any restrictions or provisions imposed by your insurance provider.
