
Bingyu Xu is a Doctoral Practicum Student at Arizona State University. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and economics from Brandeis University. She has experience providing individual/group therapy and conducting comprehensive psychological assessments in private practice and community mental health settings. Her therapy approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapies, with an emphasis on trauma-informed and culturally responsive care. Bingyu is excited to expand her training in forensic mental health, with a particular interest in assessment. Her clinical and research work reflects a longstanding commitment to understanding how context, identity, and systemic factors influence psychological functioning and legal outcomes.
