
Shanna Schopmeyer is a psychometrician and doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Northern Arizona University. She holds an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology from Texas A&M University and brings over a decade of experience in psychological assessment across educational, medical, and community settings. Shanna has completed extensive training in psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological testing, with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD differential diagnosis. She is ADOS-2 certified and proficient in administering and interpreting a wide range of cognitive, developmental, and personality measures.
Her clinical background includes supervised experience in private practice, managed care, and community mental health, where she has evaluated children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Shanna’s approach emphasizes culturally responsive, neuroaffirming, and trauma-informed practices that support accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment recommendations.
In addition to her clinical work, Shanna’s doctoral research focuses on the therapeutic applications of tabletop roleplaying games for neurodivergent adults, reflecting her commitment to innovative, evidence-based approaches in psychology.
