Dr. Alex Levitan
Chief Clinical Director
Alex Levitan is the lead Psychologist and Clinical Director of Levitan & Associates Psychological Services where he is responsible for organizing and overseeing all providers and programs within the agency. Dr. Levitan is a faculty member with the Arizona State University School of Criminology and Criminal Justice where he lectures on research into criminogenic risk factors, statistical analyses, and the intersection of forensic and clinical mental health. He has been invited to present at numerous public and professional organizations at the local and state level. Dr. Levitan addresses each client with an objective and solution-focused approach. He understands that everyone has their own experiences and backgrounds and customizes his treatment plan based on the individual. While the foundation of his practice is evidence-based, he embraces both classic treatments such as CBT, EMDR, and SFBT, as well as new and emerging care including biofeedback and animal-assisted therapy.
