Cassidy Korman is a counseling intern at Levitan & Associates and a graduate student in Arizona State University’s online master’s program in counseling, which she will complete in about a year. She has also earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from ASU—a place that has shaped much of her academic and professional journey. Prior to starting her internship, Cassidy worked as a behavioral health technician supporting children, and while that experience was invaluable, she’s especially passionate about working with young adults as they navigate a critical and often overwhelming phase of life. Cassidy brings creativity into her counseling work, using it as a tool to help clients express themselves, build resilience, and face challenges in ways that feel authentic and empowering. Her approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with a strong emphasis on collaboration. Cassidy believes counseling is a team effort built on support, acceptance, and reminding clients of their own strength. Her goal is to create a space where people feel heard, valued, and reminded that they are the authors of their own story. Cassidy is grateful to be walking alongside clients in this work, and looks forward to learning and growing together.
